Pro-Lok K331 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Can I pick the color on the Pro-Lok Jumbo Dice key chain, or does it ship assorted?
It ships as an assortment of red, green and clear. There's a single model, K331, so color isn't a selectable option. If you're color-coding keys by building or unit, plan around an assortment rather than ordering a specific color.
2) How is the Pro-Lok Jumbo Dice keychain packaged for retail display versus bulk?
Two packs: retail cards with one keychain per card, in sets of five, or a Multi-Card carrying 12 keychains. Locksmith shops and hardware counters use the single retail cards for peg display; the 12-piece Multi-Card is the one to take if you're handing them out with key sets rather than selling them off a hook.
3) How big is the Pro-Lok K331 Jumbo Dice keychain?
The dice body measures one inch by one inch, in colored plastic, and it hangs from a 1 inch linked chain ending in a split key ring. The point of the size is bulk: it's easy to spot in a pocket or a drawer and easy to grab when your hands are full.
4) Will keys fit on the Pro-Lok K331 dice keychain without extra hardware?
Yes. It comes with a split key ring already attached at the end of the chain, so standard cut keys slide straight on. No additional ring or connector is needed.
5) Is a plastic dice keychain a good choice for tagging apartment or unit keys?
For a property manager it works as a grab-and-find fob, not as an identification tag. The dice is molded colored plastic with no writing surface or numbering field, so it won't carry a unit number. If you need keys labeled by unit, use a write-on or numbered key tag and keep the dice for the office set or the master ring you want to find fast.
