Ordinary hardened insert bits shear under that hammering. They will still run fine in a standard drill/driver or in a hand driver.
3) Will these bits fit a 1/4 inch hex quick-change chuck?
Yes. These are standard 1/4 inch hex shank insert bits, which is what every cordless impact driver chuck takes. The set also includes a 3/8 inch square impact adapter, so you can run 3/8 inch drive impact sockets off the same driver, and a 3 inch magnetic extension for recessed fasteners.
