The TUFFY socket is UL Listed as suitable for wet locations, so it can go on building exteriors, parking areas, or anywhere it takes direct weather, as well as indoors. The housing is precision die-cast aluminum, which is what lets it hold up outside.
2) What thread does the RAB TUFFY socket arm use for mounting?
The arm is 1/2 inch NPS threaded with a locking swivel, so it threads onto standard 1/2 inch pipe-size lampholder arms, outlet box hubs, and stanchions. If what you are mounting to is a different pipe size, you need an adapter bushing.
3) Can you aim the TUFFY socket after it is installed?
