1) Will the RAB W22-S-30 wall pack run on 277V, or do I need a separate model for each voltage?
One fixture covers all four common commercial voltages. The W22-S-30 driver is rated 120-277V, drawing 0.25A at 120V, 0.15A at 208V, 0.13A at 240V and 0.11A at 277V. So the same part goes on a 120V residential circuit or a 277V lighting panel in a warehouse, which is what makes it easy to standardize across a portfolio of buildings.
2) Is a 30W LED wall pack bright enough to replace a 100W or 175W metal halide wall pack?
On lumens, yes for most entry and perimeter work: the W22-S-30 puts out up to 4,508 lumens at the 30W setting, which is in the range a small HID wall pack delivered after lamp depreciation, at roughly a tenth the input wattage (15.9 to 30.4W actual). Where you are lighting a large parking face or a high loading dock wall, a 30W head is the wrong size and you want a higher-wattage wall pack or a flood. 3) Can this RAB wall pack be dimmed off a building control system?
Yes. The driver is 0-10V dimming, so it wires to a 0-10V control signal from a lighting panel, occupancy sensor pack or BMS in addition to the line voltage. It is a constant-output driver, so light level holds steady at whatever wattage setting and dim level you set. If your controls are line-voltage switching only, you can still use it, just leave the dimming leads unused per the control wiring you are following.
