The RACO 440 is a 3 in. x 2 in. gangable steel switch box with a 2 in. depth, built for switch, receptacle, and device installations in commercial and residential branch-circuit wiring. Because it is gangable, additional RACO 440 boxes can be joined side by side to form multi-gang assemblies without a separate multi-gang box, saving stock and simplifying rough-in. The box includes one 1/2 in. knockout along with factory AC/MC/Flex clamps for quick, secure connections to armored cable, metal-clad cable, or flexible conduit, and it is UL Listed for use in standard branch-circuit wiring systems.
