2) Do I have to re-drill the door to switch from Von Duprin to Sargent trim?
No. That is the whole point of the 688 kit. It mounts to the existing Von Duprin prep, so the door keeps its current holes and you avoid patching, filling, or swapping the leaf. For a renovation where dozens of openings are being converted to Sargent, that is the difference between a trim swap and a door replacement.
3) Does the Sargent 688 kit include the ET trim, or do I order that separately?
