Only on the Standard version. Order it Fire Rated and it comes less dogging, because a fire door has to relatch every time it closes. On a standard opening you can hold the latch out mechanically, or spec the electric options: 56 gives you remote dogging and latch retraction, and 58 is electric dogging, both of which let a time schedule from the access control system unlock the door in the morning and secure it at night without anyone walking to the door.
5) Which Sargent 8376 length do I order for my door width?
Device length should cover roughly half to most of the door width, and the 8376 is offered in 32, 36, 42 and 48 inch rails.
