    1) Does the Satco 90-2631 ceiling fixture come with a bulb, or do I have to order the lamp separately?
    No lamp is included. The 90-2631 is a keyless fixture with a GU24 socket, so you supply a GU24 twist-and-lock lamp separately. Dimming also depends entirely on the lamp you choose, not the fixture, so if you need dimming you have to buy a GU24 lamp rated dimmable and pair it with a compatible dimmer.
    2) How much ceiling clearance does the Satco 90-2631 need in a closet or low-ceiling hallway?
    It is a squat flush mount that projects 4.25 inches from the ceiling and measures 4.75 inches in diameter. That low profile is why it gets specified in closets, stairwells, utility rooms and low-clearance corridors where a taller drum fixture would be in the way.
    3) Can I wire the Satco 90-2631 on a standard 120V building circuit?
    Yes. The fixture is rated 120V, which is standard US residential and light commercial lighting branch circuit voltage. It is not a 277V fixture, so do not use it on a 277V commercial lighting circuit.

    GU24 is a two-pin twist-and-lock base rather than a threaded Edison socket. Jurisdictions and energy programs that require high-efficacy lighting often call for GU24 because a standard incandescent screw-in lamp physically cannot be installed in it. On the 90-2631 that means tenants can replace the lamp but cannot downgrade the fixture to incandescent.
    5) Is the lens on the Satco 90-2631 removable for relamping, and what is it made of?
    The lens is Lexan and twists on, so relamping is a quarter turn by hand with no tools and no screws to lose on a ladder. The fixture body material is urea. For property managers relamping dozens of units, the twist-on lens is the detail that keeps the service call short.

    No, it is keyless. There is no pull chain or integral switch, so control has to come from a wall switch or other upstream control. If you need a fixture the occupant can switch at the fixture itself, this is the wrong one.
