At 450 lumens output, the S21347 lands in the range of a 40 watt incandescent while drawing 5.5 watts. If you need the brightness of a 60 watt bulb, go up to a higher lumen lamp, roughly 800 lumens.

The S21347 is a dimmable lamp. Pair it with an LED-rated dimmer; older incandescent-only dimmers can flicker or buzz with a load this small, and at 5.5 watts a single bulb may fall below the minimum load some dimmers require.

5000K is daylight white, a crisp blue-white. It reads clean and bright in corridors, laundry rooms, stairwells, back of house and parking areas. For lobbies, guest rooms and residential units where you want a warm look, pick a 2700K or 3000K version instead. Mixing 5000K with warmer lamps on the same run is obvious to the eye, so standardize per space.

The S21347 is rated 90+ CRI, so colors render closer to natural light. That matters where people judge color or appearance: retail displays, salons, exam and treatment rooms, galleries, food service, and bathroom vanities. For a utility closet or a mechanical room, 80 CRI is enough and 90 CRI is spend you will not see.

Clear glass means the filament-style LED is visible, which is what you want in a decorative exposed socket, a vanity strip or a sign fixture where the lamp is part of the look. Looked at directly from a few feet it is a bright point source, so for a diffuse glow behind a shade or in a pendant where the bulb sits at eye level, a frosted or satin lamp is easier on the eyes.

Construction is glass with a nickel plated aluminum base. Nickel plating resists corrosion better than bare brass or plain aluminum, which helps in bathrooms and other humid interiors. It is still an indoor lamp, so keep it in enclosed or weather protected fixtures rather than open outdoor sockets.
