    1) Will the Satco S39062 downlight fit both 5 inch and 6 inch recessed cans?
    Yes. The S39062 is built as a 5-6 inch retrofit downlight, so it covers both common can sizes. The trim ring measures 7.13 inches in diameter, which is what overlaps and conceals the can opening, and the housing is only 1.94 inches deep so it sits inside a shallow can. Check that your ceiling has at least 7.13 inches of clear flat surface around the hole for the trim to lie flush.
    2) Can I put this LED downlight in a bathroom or over a shower?
    Bathrooms and similar humid rooms, yes. The S39062 carries a damp location rating and is an indoor fixture, so a vanity ceiling, a laundry room, or a covered porch soffit is within rating. It is not wet rated, so do not use it directly in a shower enclosure or anywhere exposed to direct water. For those spots you need a wet listed shower trim.
    3) Will this downlight pass a California Title 24 inspection?
    The S39062 is listed as Title 24 compliant, which matters for residential and commercial work in California where recessed luminaires in the lighting budget have to be compliant fixtures. It is also cETLus Listed for US and Canadian use, FCC compliant, and RoHS compliant. Controls and circuiting are still on the installer, Title 24 compliance on the fixture does not cover the dimming or occupancy control requirements for the space.
    4) Can I order this Satco downlight in a different color temperature, or is 3000K fixed?
    3000K is fixed. The S39062 is not CCT selectable and not wattage selectable, so there is no field switch to move it to 2700K, 3500K, or 4000K, and no way to dial the wattage down from 11.6W. If you want one part number that can be set per room, you need a selectable-CCT downlight instead. The only option on this model is the white finish.
