The Schlage 11-110 is a spring latch cut to a 2-3/8 inch backset, with a 1 inch circular drive-in housing, a 1/2 inch throw, and an ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 rating. The Deltana G1RLE238 is a regular latch built to the same 2-3/8 inch backset, rated Grade 1, and designated for entry function. The backset matches, so both reach the same bore; they differ in grade and in how each is specified - the 11-110 by its drive-in housing diameter and throw, the G1RLE238 by lock function.

It does. The 11-110 covers doors from 1-3/8 to 1-7/8 inches thick, which takes in the 1-3/4 inch commercial standard and the 1-3/8 inch interior doors common in older buildings. Anything over 1-7/8 inches is outside what this latch is built for.

Spring latch. The 11-110 is a plain beveled latchbolt with no auxiliary deadlocking plunger riding alongside it, so it can be shimmed open with a card. Only if the door edge is bored round. The 11-110 is a circular drive-in with a 1 inch housing diameter, so it drives straight into a 1 inch edge bore and has no rectangular faceplate to cover anything. If the edge already has a faceplate pocket routed into it, the round housing leaves that cutout open and you need a faceplate latch rather than a drive-in.

It carries ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 and is a commercial-duty part, which covers most light commercial, multi-family and institutional interior openings. Where a job spec calls out Grade 1 on the latch itself, the Deltana G1RLE238 is a Grade 1 regular latch in entry function at the same 2-3/8 inch backset.

Just the latch. The 11-110 is sold as a replacement latch, so when the lever and rose are still sound and the bolt is what has quit, you pull the latch and leave the trim alone. It is a Schlage part, so match it to a Schlage bored lock rather than treating it as a universal drop-in, and confirm the door prep is a 2-3/8 inch backset with a 1 inch round edge bore.

605 bright brass. On a bored door only the round housing face is visible, sitting in the edge of the door, so you see it with the door open and not at all with the door shut. It does not have to match the lever or rose on the face of the door, which matters if you are patching one failed latch into a run of openings finished in something else.
