Schlage Electronics 23599376 CO Series Door Thickness Kit

It's the installation hardware that adapts a CO Series electronic lock to the thickness of the door it's going on. The kit is ordered by door thickness, so you pick the one matching your door rather than shimming or hunting for longer screws on site. It's a commercial electronic access control accessory, not a lock in itself, so it goes on the order alongside the CO Series device.

Yes, up to 2-3/4 inches. The CO Series thickness kit covers 1-7/8, 2, 2-1/8, 2-1/4, 2-3/8, 2-1/2 and 2-3/4 inch doors above the standard 1-3/4. Past 2-3/4 inches the kit range stops, so a thicker leaf needs a different approach.

A 1-3/4 inch kit is offered, so match it to the door. Where the confusion usually comes from is buildings with a mix of leaf thicknesses across the same floor, common in older properties and in retrofits: the lock is the same part on every opening, but the thickness kit is not. Verify each door before you order a batch, because eight different thicknesses ship as eight different kits.

Mounting hardware only. The 23599376 is a mounting assembly, an installation accessory for the CO Series electronic lock. It contains no credential reader, no cylinder and no latch, so it will not secure an opening on its own. Buy it with, or after, the CO Series device it is going to be fitted to.
