1) Will the Schlage FE365 Camelot keypad handleset fit my door prep, or do I need to redrill?
Standard residential prep works. The FE365 Camelot takes a 2-1/8 inch cross bore and a 1 inch edge bore, with the backset adjustable to either 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 inches, so it covers both of the common residential backsets without a new hole. 4) Does the Schlage FE365 auto-lock behind you when you leave the house?
No, and this catches people out. The FE365 does not lock itself when you walk away. To lock it from outside you press the Schlage button on the keypad and manually throw the bolt. If you want a lock that throws the bolt on its own, this is not the model for that job.
