Metallics HK38 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Metallics HK38 and what size hex key does it use?
The HK38 is a 3/8 hex key screw from Metallics, supplied one piece per unit. The 3/8 refers to the hex key size that drives it, so you will need a 3/8 inch hex (Allen) wrench or bit to set it.
2) Is the Metallics HK38 sold individually or in a box?
It ships as a single piece. If you are setting multiple lugs or connectors on a job, order the count you need rather than expecting a carton.
3) What is the correct part number to order for a Metallics 3/8 hex key screw?
Order it as Metallics HK38. That is the manufacturer part number, and it covers the 3/8 hex key screw sold one per piece.
4) Are there other sizes or finishes of the Metallics HK38 screw to choose from?
No. The HK38 is a single configuration, 3/8 hex key, one piece. There is no size or finish choice to specify on the order.
