Metallics HK764 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size hex key is the Metallics HK764?
The HK764 is a 7/64 inch hex key in steel, sold one piece per pack. If the set screw or fastener on your fitting takes a 7/64 inch internal hex, this is the driver for it.
2) Is the Metallics HK764 hex key sold individually or in a set?
It ships as a single piece, one 7/64 inch key per unit, not as a graduated set. If you need several sizes on the truck, order each size separately.
3) Is the Metallics HK764 the right tool for electrical set screw connectors and lugs?
It is an electrical-trade fastener accessory, a steel 7/64 inch hex key, so it suits small set screws on connectors, couplings and similar electrical hardware that use that hex size. Measure the socket first, since adjacent sizes like 3/32 and 1/8 look close by eye and will round out the screw if forced.
