Metallics SGH143 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Metallics SGH143 screw sleeve guide holder used for?
The SGH143 is a 3 inch screw guide holder sleeve. It slips over the screw shank and into the driver area so the fastener is held straight and steady while you start it, which is what you want when you are driving a screw one-handed overhead or reaching into a box or panel where you cannot get fingers on the head.
2) How many pieces come in the Metallics SGH143 sleeve pack?
One piece per pack, supplied in a pouch. If you are outfitting a crew or want spares on more than one truck, order multiple units rather than expecting several sleeves in one bag.
3) Is the Metallics SGH143 an electrical trade item or a general hardware screw?
It is carried as an electrical fastener accessory, the sort of thing an electrician keeps in the pouch for device and box screws rather than a structural fastener. The screw itself is not included; the SGH143 is the guide sleeve only.
