It's a #10 x 1-1/2 inch sheet metal screw with a button head and a pin-in-star (tamper resistant Torx) drive, sold 100 pieces to the pack. Sheet metal thread, so it's meant to be driven into sheet metal, enclosures, strut covers and similar thin-gauge material rather than into wood framing.

A standard Torx bit will not seat. The pin in the center of the recess blocks it, so you need a pin-in-Torx (Torx with a hole drilled up the center) bit in the matching size for a #10 head. Plan on having those bits on the truck before the install, and keep a spare, since the hollow tip is the part that snaps.

The pin-in-star head on the TP612SBC keeps covers, panels and device plates from being opened with the bits anyone carries. That matters in public corridors, schools, transit areas, multi-family common spaces and anywhere you're trying to stop casual access to wiring. If the cover is in a locked mechanical room, a plain Phillips or hex-head sheet metal screw does the same mechanical job for less hassle on service calls.

At 1-1/2 inches of thread the TP612SBC is a long screw for thin sheet metal, which is the point when you're going through a cover plus a spacer, insulation, a gasket or into a captive nut set back from the face. If you're only joining two layers of sheet metal with nothing behind them, the extra length protrudes and you want a shorter #10. Check the depth behind the hole before you commit.

Button head means a low, rounded crown that sits on top of the material rather than pulling into a countersunk hole. No chamfering or countersinking is needed, but the head does stand above the face, so it is not the right choice where something has to slide flush over it.
