18-8 stainless (the common 300-series austenitic grade) holds up well to weather and washdown, which is why it gets specified for exterior signage, enclosure covers, and restroom or pool-area hardware. It is not the grade for salt-spray coastal exposure, where 316 stainless is the usual step up. The TP519SBC gives you that corrosion resistance plus a pinned socket so the fastener can't be backed out with a common tool.
