Sioux Chief 490-10585 Tank to Bowl Kit for Mansfield Toilets

The Sioux Chief 490-10585 Tank to Bowl Kit is a fit-specific replacement kit engineered for Mansfield-brand toilets, giving plumbing contractors and service techs a ready hardware set for reseating and securing the tank to the bowl during a rough-in repair or fixture rebuild. Manufactured in Taiwan and supplied in a case pack of 25 EA, this kit is sized for supply-house shelving and service-truck stock so a tech always has the correct Mansfield-compatible hardware on hand. Because it is a purpose-built kit rather than a universal assortment, it helps plumbers avoid leak call-backs caused by mismatched gaskets or bolts on Mansfield toilet models. Buying the kit in a full case also cuts down on per-job hunting for compatible generic hardware when a route includes multiple Mansfield tank-to-bowl repairs in a single day.

Key Features

  • Mansfield-Specific Fit: Engineered to match Mansfield toilet tank-to-bowl hardware for a correct, leak-resistant reseat.
  • Complete Kit Format: Supplies the tank-to-bowl hardware needed under one part number instead of sourcing individual pieces.
  • Contractor Case Pack: Packaged 25 EA per case, sized for supply-house shelf stock and service-truck inventory.
  • Taiwan Manufacture: Produced in Taiwan as part of Sioux Chief's rough-in plumbing supply line.
  • Rough-In Repair Ready: Suited to toilet tank reseating, rebuild, and rough-in service calls on Mansfield fixtures.
  • Reduced SKU Complexity: Consolidates the Mansfield tank-to-bowl hardware into a single part number, simplifying counter and van-stock inventory.

Why Sioux Chief?

Sioux Chief is a trusted name in rough-in plumbing supply, and the 490-10585 kit reflects that focus with a fit-specific hardware set rather than a generic universal kit, cutting the guesswork and callback risk that comes with mismatched tank-to-bowl hardware. Packaged 25 EA per case, it is built for the pace of professional plumbing and MRO supply operations rather than single-unit retail use. For plumbing wholesalers and service contractors who regularly field Mansfield toilet repair calls, stocking this kit under its own part number keeps the correct tank-to-bowl hardware on hand without cross-referencing multiple generic gasket-and-bolt assortments.

Sioux Chief 490-10585 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the Sioux Chief 490-10585 tank to bowl kit fit a Mansfield toilet?
That is exactly what the 490-10585 is built for. It is a fit-specific tank to bowl hardware kit matched to Mansfield-brand toilets, not a universal gasket-and-bolt assortment, so the hardware seats correctly on Mansfield tanks and bowls without mixing and matching generic pieces.
2) Can I use this Sioux Chief kit on a Kohler or American Standard toilet?
No. The 490-10585 is engineered to Mansfield tank-to-bowl hardware specifically. For other fixture brands you need the hardware matched to that brand; using this kit on a non-Mansfield toilet is the kind of mismatch that causes leak call-backs.
3) Is the Sioux Chief 490-10585 sold individually or by the case?
It is supplied as a case pack of 25 EA. That suits supply-house shelf stock and service-truck inventory for a route that hits several Mansfield tank reseats in a day, but it is not a single-unit retail pack.
4) What job is a tank to bowl kit actually used for?
It supplies the hardware that reseats and secures a toilet tank to the bowl, so it goes on during a fixture rebuild, a tank reseat after a leak, or a new Mansfield toilet installation. The 490-10585 consolidates that Mansfield hardware under one part number instead of pulling individual bolts and gaskets from separate bins.
5) Where is the Sioux Chief 490-10585 made?
Taiwan. Worth noting if you are buying against a domestic-content or country-of-origin requirement on an institutional or government order.
6) Is the Sioux Chief 490-10585 appropriate for commercial restroom maintenance, or just residential?
Both. The kit is used on residential and commercial restroom maintenance calls on Mansfield fixtures, and the 25-per-case pack is aimed at professional plumbing and MRO operations that standardize their tank-to-bowl hardware across a building's Mansfield toilets.
