1) What size conduit does the Kraloy 2 inch slip meter riser connect to?
It's built for 2 inch PVC conduit. The riser body is 2 inch diameter and it comes fitted with a 2 inch terminal adapter on the end, so it ties into 2 inch schedule PVC underground and lands into the meter socket hub through the TA. If your service run is 1-1/4 or 3 inch, this is the wrong size riser.
2) Is this meter riser UL listed for service entrance work?
Yes. The Kraloy slip meter riser is UL listed to UL 651 for rigid PVC conduit and UL 514B for fittings, and it also carries CSA C22.2 No. 85 certification. That combination covers both the conduit body and the terminal adapter for inspection on a service entrance install.

Threaded metal risers are still the call where the utility or local amendment specifies rigid metal above grade.
5) Will a PVC meter riser hold up buried in wet or corrosive soil?
PVC is the reason to use it. The riser body is PVC throughout, so it won't rust or corrode the way a galvanized riser does where it exits grade, which is exactly where metal risers fail first. It's spec'd into water and sewage treatment plants, marinas, and mining facilities for that reason.
6) Can this riser be used for anything besides a house meter base?
