SOSS 418IC Invisible Closer Hinge with Fire Rating for 1-3/4" Doors
The SOSS 418IC Invisible Closer Hinge is engineered for most door types with a 1-3/4" minimum thickness, combining a fully concealed hinge with an integrated door closer that remains totally invisible from either side when the door is closed. Constructed of alloy steel materials, this heavy-duty hinge from the 418 Series opens a full 180° as a single-action hinge and features a closure rate that is completely adjustable with an allen wrench after installation, with no need to remove the closer. Underwriters Laboratories has labeled the model #418IC for use on hollow metal, sheet metal, tin clad, and steel composite swinging fire doors and frames rated up to and including three hours, on wood core doors and frames rated up to 20 minutes, and on wood/plastic composite doors constructed with Georgia Pacific FSI or FSII banding rated up to and including 90 minutes.
