1) Can I use a Spears Schedule 80 CPVC female adapter to connect CPVC pipe to a threaded metal valve?
That is exactly what the 835 series female adapter is for. One end is a solvent-weld socket that takes CPVC pipe, the other is a female pipe thread that screws onto a male NPT connection on a valve, pump, or piece of equipment. 2) Will a CPVC fitting solvent weld to PVC pipe?
