No. These are set screw fittings made for electrical metallic tubing (EMT) only. Rigid and IMC are threaded conduit and take threaded couplings or fittings, not a set screw EMT connector.

Yes. The body is steel, not die cast zinc alloy or plastic, and the set screw bites the tubing to hold both the mechanical and electrical connection.
