Sure-Loc Monterrey Series Towel Ring

Four: Satin Nickel (15), Polished Chrome (26), Flat Black (FBL) and Satin Brass (SB). Those are the same finish codes used across the rest of the Sure-Loc Monterrey bath line, so a ring ordered in 15 will match Monterrey towel bars and paper holders in 15 on the same wall.

No. Sure-Loc lists the Monterrey bath accessories as residential, intended for bathrooms and powder rooms. For a high traffic public restroom in an office, school or hotel, buy a commercial grade washroom accessory instead of this line.

The Sure-Loc Monterrey Series towel ring is a residential bath accessory offered in Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black and Satin Brass. If the spec you are matching is stated by ring width, Deltana publishes dimensions on several of its towel rings: the 88TR6 in the 88 Series is a 6 inch solid brass ring, the 98C2008 Classic is a 6 inch solid brass ring, the BBN2008 in the BBN Series is 6-1/4 inch, and the BBS2008 in the BBS Series is 6-1/2 inch.

It mounts with concealed fasteners, so the mounting screws sit behind the post and are not visible once the ring is installed. Standard practice for this type is to anchor the bracket into a stud or into drywall anchors, then slip the escutcheon over it and set the hidden setscrew.

Yes, and that is the practical reason to stay in one series. The Monterrey ring is sold in Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black and Satin Brass and is built to coordinate with the rest of the Sure-Loc Monterrey bath hardware, which keeps a multi-unit refresh to a single finish code on the purchase order.

Plenty of same-type options across other lines. Emtek offers towel rings in Modern Brass, Transitional, Traditional and Sandcast Bronze bath hardware, which covers everything from contemporary to rustic. Delaney has the Congaree 200, Cascade 300, Acadia 900 and Denali 1100 rings, and Orca Hardware has the 2760 Cypress, 3660 Swirl, 4860 Blakely and 9160 Waldron. Pick the family that matches the rest of the bath suite you are installing, since rings and bars are meant to be bought as a set.

The Sure-Loc Monterrey Series towel ring is part of the Monterrey line, so it coordinates with the rest of that series. If you would rather standardize on another single family, Delaney Hardware offers towel rings in four series that each carry a matching bath line: Congaree 200, Cascade 300, Acadia 900 and Denali 1100. Orca Hardware likewise has one towel ring per style family, including the 2760 Cypress, 3660 Swirl, 4860 Blakely and 9160 Waldron.

No. Finish is the only thing that varies on the Monterrey ring. All four options, Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black and Satin Brass, are the same ring with the same concealed fastener mounting, so the install is identical whichever code you order.

For a different design direction, Emtek splits its bath hardware towel rings by style: Modern Brass, Transitional, Traditional, and Sandcast Bronze. Orca Hardware's towel rings also differ by style family, the 3660 Swirl and 4860 Blakely among them.

No power involved. It is a mechanical bath accessory with no electronic component, so there is nothing to wire and no batteries to service.
