Two trade sizes: 1/2 inch, which is part number 141AL, and 3/4 inch, part number 142AL. Order by trade size of the conduit or the threaded hub you are landing, not by the knockout diameter in the box.
2) Will a 1/2 inch locknut thread onto a 1/2 inch conduit connector or nipple?
Yes. Conduit locknuts, connectors, and rigid nipples are all built to the same trade-size threading, so the 1/2 inch locknut (141AL) threads onto 1/2 inch fittings and the 3/4 inch (142AL) onto 3/4 inch. Trade sizes do not interchange, so a 1/2 inch nut will not start on a 3/4 inch hub.
