1) Can I replace an LB, LL, LR, or C conduit body with a Thomas & Betts LU Form 8 body?
Yes. The LU Form 8 conduit body is built to take the place of LL, LR, LB, and C bodies, a 4 to 1 SKU reduction on the truck and in the stockroom. Because the body's radius matches the bend of the conduit, you pull wire straight through it instead of pulling to a specific left, right, or back port.

The body is iron with BlueKote four-layer protection, finished in zinc plating with an acrylic coating, giving corrosion resistance on both the inside and outside surfaces. That is aimed at exposed and corrosive locations rather than dry interior work only.
