1) What size flex conduit does the Topaz 461 screw-in flex coupling fit?
The Topaz screw-in flex coupling is made in trade sizes 1/2 inch (461), 3/4 inch (462), 1 inch (463), 1-1/4 inch (464) and 1-1/2 inch (465). Match the coupling to the trade size of the FMC you are joining, not to the wire fill. If you are running 2 inch flex, this family does not cover it in the sizes offered.
2) Do I need a coupling or a connector to land flex into a box or panel?
A coupling joins two pieces of flex to each other, mid-run. It does not terminate into an enclosure. If you are landing FMC into a knockout on a box, panel or motor housing you need a flex connector with a locknut, not this coupling. Order the coupling only where you are splicing two lengths of Greenfield together.
3) How does a screw-in flex coupling install compared to a squeeze or set-screw type?
Screw-in means the fitting threads into the spiral of the conduit itself, twist-to-fit, with no clamp saddle to tighten and no special tool. A squeeze or set-screw coupling instead grips the outside of the flex with a screw or clamp. The screw-in style is faster on a run and has fewer loose parts to drop in a ceiling, but it depends on the conduit convolutions being in good shape, so a crushed or deformed end has to be cut back before it will bite.
4) Will a zinc die-cast flex coupling hold up in a damp or corrosive area?

It is not a sealed fitting though, so a wet location or a washdown area calls for liquidtight, not this.
