1) Can I use the Topaz 632I EMT connector outdoors or in a wet location?
No. The 632I zinc die-cast set-screw connector is rated for dry locations only. It is concrete-tight when taped, so it can be poured into a slab or masonry, but that is not the same as raintight or wet-location rated. For outdoor or damp runs you need a compression (raintight) EMT connector instead.
