TOTO THU6905#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the Toto THU6905 deodorizer cartridge and filter replace?
THU6905#01 is the replacement deodorizer filter and P seal cartridge for Toto washlet-style fixtures that use a deodorizer unit. It is a service part, ordered by the Toto part number THU6905#01, not a complete deodorizer assembly. When odor control drops off on a fixture that has the deodorizer function, this is the consumable you swap.
2) Is the Toto THU6905 a filter only, or does it include the seal?
Both. The THU6905#01 kit is the deodorizer filter together with the P seal, so you are not sourcing the seal separately when you change the filter. That matters on an MRO cart: one part number covers the change-out.
3) Does the THU6905 deodorizer cartridge come in different versions or finishes?
There is one version only, THU6905#01. The #01 suffix is Toto's cotton white designation, and it is the sole configuration of this cartridge, so there is no size, hand, or option to specify when ordering. Order by quantity alone.
4) For a facility with several Toto washlets, is the deodorizer cartridge a stocking item?
It is a consumable replacement part, which is exactly the kind of item that belongs on a par level rather than a one-off order. Since THU6905#01 has no variants to sort out, a property manager or facilities buyer can stock one part number and cover every fixture in the building that uses this deodorizer cartridge.
