TOTO THP4014 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What thread size is the TOTO THP4014 set screw?
The THP4014 is a hex head set screw threaded M5 x P0.8, meaning 5 mm diameter with a 0.8 mm thread pitch. That is the metric thread, so a 10-32 or other inch-series set screw will not thread in correctly.
2) Which TOTO part is THP4014 for, the handle or just the screw?
THP4014 is the fastener itself, a hex head set screw for the hot side lever handle on the TOTO Soiree lavatory faucet. If the handle body is cracked or stripped, this screw alone won't fix it; order the handle. If the handle just spins or works loose on the stem, this is the piece you need.
3) Will the same TOTO set screw work on the cold handle too?
THP4014 is catalogued for the hot lever handle on the Soiree lav faucet. The cold side is ordered under its own TOTO part number, so for a maintenance kit covering both handles, pull the cold-side screw separately rather than doubling up on this one.
4) What tool do I need to tighten the TOTO THP4014 handle screw?
It is a hex head set screw in M5 x P0.8, so it drives with a hex key rather than a screwdriver. Property maintenance techs working TOTO Soiree faucets usually keep a small metric hex set on the cart for exactly this.
