TOTO THP3495 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly comes with TOTO THP3495?
TOTO THP3495 is a single set screw, M3 x 12 mm. One piece per order, not a kit and not the spout body itself.
2) Is the TOTO THP3495 the square spout nozzle piece itself or just the screw that holds it?
It's the fastener. Despite the square spout nozzle naming, what ships is an M3 x 12 set screw, catalogued as a plumbing fastener. If you need the nozzle body, order that part separately.
3) Will an M3 set screw from the hardware store work instead of THP3495?
The thread size is M3 and the length is 12 mm, so dimensionally a generic M3 x 12 set screw matches. What a loose hardware-store screw won't guarantee is the drive type, point style, and finish TOTO used on the spout nozzle, which is why the factory part is the safe call on a visible bath fitting.
4) My TOTO square spout is loose and wobbles on the mount. Is this the part I need?
A square spout nozzle that works loose is usually the set screw backing out, and THP3495 is that screw, M3 x 12. Replacing it covers a stripped, corroded, or missing screw. If the spout is loose because the nozzle piece or its seal is damaged, the screw alone won't fix it.
5) How many screws are in a TOTO THP3495 order?
One. The pack is a single set screw, so if you're servicing several fixtures across a property, order one per spout and add spares.
