2) What do I have to order alongside the FME-4000 lock to actually get it working?
One programming pack per job is required and it does not come in the box. The pack holds the programming, register and clear keycards, and without it you cannot enroll or delete users on any lock. Order one pack for the job, not one per door. Separate from that, you choose whether to add the Remote Control Unit (RCU) that triggers lockdown, and whether to add RFID user keycards. Keying is specified too: keyed different is standard, keyed alike if you want one key across multiple locks, or a specific key code.
3) How does a classroom lockdown work on the TownSteel FME-4000, and does it need a building network?
