When the touch bar is depressed, an internal horn emits an 85-decibel audible signal to instantly alert personnel to any unauthorized breach of the opening. Operating on a single standard 9-volt alkaline battery, the 99-ALK delivers long-lasting, reliable performance and includes a 24VDC input and External Inhibit as standard features for remote arming and disarming capability. The key switch is compatible with a standard 1-1/4" (32mm) mortise cylinder with a straight cam (Schlage 20-001, L583-477 cam), ensuring seamless integration with existing security setups.
