A beautiful bar of pure LED light radiates through the co-extruded acrylic diffuser for brighter illumination, and an adjustable back plate adds versatility to this design's many attributes. It's a clean modern sconce anywhere you mount it. Energy efficient integrated LED's provide a long-lasting maintenance-free bright and even illumination. NEW: Tri-CCT technology features a switch inside the canopy that is accessible during installation and allows you to toggle color temperatures between 3000K Warm White - 3500 White - or 4000K Cool White to find and set the perfect color temperature for your space. This fixture is factory pre-set to a default setting of your choosing (30 in part number for 3000K, 35 in part number for 3500K, etc.) and can be easily modified in the field during installation by the flip of a switch.

1) Can I change the color temperature on the WAC Brink WS-77636 vanity light after it's installed?
The switch is inside the canopy, so you set it during installation, not after the fixture is on the wall. Flip it to 3000K warm white, 3500K white, or 4000K cool white. Each fixture ships pre-set to the temperature in the part number (WS-77636-30 arrives at 3000K, WS-77636-35 at 3500K), so if you're doing a run of units in one building, order them all on the same pre-set and you can skip the switch entirely. If you want to change one later, you're pulling the fixture off the plate to get at the canopy.
2) My junction box isn't centered over the vanity. Will the 36 inch Brink light still line up?
That's what the adjustable backplate is for. The Brink mounts off-center to the box, so a 36 inch bar can be positioned where the mirror wants it even when the rough-in landed somewhere else. It also mounts vertically, horizontally, or on the ceiling. A conversion plate for a standard 4 inch junction box is in the carton.
3) Will the WAC Brink WS-77636 work on 277V commercial power?
Yes. The driver is universal voltage, 120V through 277V, so the same part number goes on 120V residential circuits and 277V commercial lighting circuits. That's the reason to standardize on it across a mixed portfolio. The driver measures 2.76 x 1.26 x 1.18 inches and sits inside the junction box, so confirm you have the volume in the box for it plus your conductors.
4) What dimmer do I need for a WAC Brink LED vanity light?
An electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Brink is ELV only, so a standard incandescent/leading-edge dimmer or a MLV dimmer is the wrong control and you'll get flicker, dropout, or no dimming. If you're replacing an older vanity fixture and reusing the existing wall control, plan on swapping the dimmer at the same time.
5) Can I put the Brink WS-77636 in a shower area or over a tub?
It's damp location rated with an IP44 rating, which covers a bathroom with steam and splash and covered exterior spots like a porch or soffit. Damp is not wet, so it does not belong inside a shower enclosure or anywhere it takes direct spray or weather. Over a vanity, beside a mirror, or on a covered entry, it's within rating.
6) Is the WAC Brink vanity light ADA compliant for a commercial restroom?
Yes, ADA compliant, and it carries ETL and cETL listings for both US and Canadian jurisdictions. 11) Will a black finish vanity bar hold up in a high-traffic multi-family bathroom?
