1) What junction box does the WAC Colorscaping WCT-WT wall station need, and does it require low-voltage control wiring?
The WCT-WT mounts to a standard 1-gang junction box and needs constant, un-switched line power at that box. No low-voltage control wiring runs back to the fixtures or power supply: the station talks to the Colorscaping WiFi-enabled power supply wirelessly, as long as it is within 100 ft of that supply.
2) Can the WCT-WT Colorscaping wall station be installed outdoors or in a wet location?
Damp locations only. The wall station is IP44 rated and carries a Damp location rating, so covered porches, soffits, and similar protected spots are fine. It is not rated for direct exposure to rain or sprinkler spray, so for an exposed exterior wall you need a weatherproof in-use enclosure or a different mounting point.
3) How many scenes and zones does the WAC Colorscaping wall station control?
It is a single-zone, multi-scene control: a dedicated OFF button plus a four-button scene layout, with raise/lower dimming. One station drives one zone of Colorscaping RGBWW fixtures. If you have separate front and back yard zones, plan on a station per zone.
4) Will the WCT-WT control any LED landscape fixture, or only WAC Colorscaping?
Only the Colorscaping system. The station communicates with the Colorscaping WiFi-enabled power supply, and that supply is what drives the RGBWW fixtures tunable from 2700K to 6500K plus full color. It is not a generic 0-10V or ELV dimmer and will not run third-party landscape fixtures or a standard dimmable LED load.
5) Will the WCT-WT work on 120V residential power, or does it need 240V?
Either. The Colorscaping wall station accepts 120-240V input, so it drops onto standard North American 120V residential service as well as 240V service. It is a hardwired device, not a plug-in or battery control.
6) Can I change what each button does after the WCT-WT is installed?
Yes. All scene, color, and dimming settings are configured through the myWAC mobile app on iOS or Android, so a scene can be re-tuned at any point without pulling the device off the wall. The dimming methods listed for it are MLV and APP.
