1) Can I set the color temperature on the WAC Twist-N-Lite FM-240209 flush mount, or do I have to order a fixed CCT?
It is 5-CCT switchable on the fixture itself, so one part number covers 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. For a property manager standardizing corridors or units, that means you stock a single item and set the temperature at install to match whatever is already on the ceiling. CRI is 90.
2) Will the FM-240209 flush mount dim on my existing wall dimmer?
It dims 100 to 5 percent on both ELV and TRIAC dimmers, running on 120 VAC 50/60Hz. So a standard forward-phase (TRIAC) residential dimmer or an electronic low voltage dimmer will both drive it down to 5 percent. No 0-10V or separate dimming pair is involved, and the driver is built into the fixture.
3) How does the Twist-N-Lite mounting system actually install, and can I swap the fixture later without redoing the wiring?
All wiring and connections are made in the junction box before the mounting base and canopy go up. The light head then twists onto the canopy, which both mounts and powers it. Because the canopy is shared across the Twist-N-Lite family, you can change to a different fixture in that family later by twisting the old one off, with no change to the mounting hardware and no rewiring. For a contractor rough-in, that lets you hang canopies early and set final fixtures at closeout.
4) Can the WAC FM-240209 be mounted on a wall, or is it ceiling only?
Ceiling or wall, in any orientation. That makes it usable as a stairwell or corridor sconce as well as a ceiling flush mount, so one item can cover both conditions in the same building.
5) How much light does the FM-240209 put out and how much power does it draw?
