WAC Lighting PD-13446-27-BK – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What color temperatures and finishes does the WAC Lighting PD-13446 Alleron linear pendant come in?
The Alleron PD-13446 is ordered in four color temperatures, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K, each available in Black or Brushed Nickel. That is eight orderable combinations in total, for example PD-13446-30-BK for 3000K in Black and PD-13446-40-BN for 4000K in Brushed Nickel.
2) How do I read the WAC PD-13446 part number so I order the right pendant?
The suffixes do the work. PD-13446 is the base model, the two digits after it are the color temperature (27, 30, 35 or 40 for 2700K, 3000K, 3500K or 4000K), and the final letters are the finish, BK for Black and BN for Brushed Nickel. So a 2700K Brushed Nickel unit is PD-13446-27-BN.
3) Which color temperature should I pick for the Alleron pendant in an office versus a restaurant?
Pick by the room, since the Alleron PD-13446 is fixed at the CCT you order and cannot be changed in the field. 2700K and 3000K read warm and are the usual choice over dining, bar and hospitality seating. 3500K is the common neutral for mixed commercial and multi-family lobbies. 4000K is the cooler, task-oriented option for open offices, conference rooms and retail where you want crisper white. If you are standardizing a building, order one CCT across all the pendants so adjacent fixtures match.
