Weslock WH-9765ORB – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Weslock 9700 a 5 inch pull, and what does the 5 inches refer to?
The 9700 is listed at 5 inches as its product projection figure. It is the standard-size Weslock cabinet pull, so if your cabinet doors are already drilled for a smaller center-to-center pull, verify your hole spacing before you commit to a fleet order.
2) Can I use the Weslock 9700 pull on a passage or entry door instead of a cabinet?
No. The 9700 is a cabinet pull, meant for cabinet and drawer fronts, not a door lever or a door pull. For a passage or entry opening you need a lockset or a door pull with the correct backset and door thickness prep.
3) Does the Weslock 9700 cabinet pull come with mounting screws?
Mounting hardware is not itemized for the 9700, so treat screws as something to confirm on receipt. On a multi-unit cabinet refresh where door and drawer front thicknesses vary, plan on stocking a range of machine screw lengths regardless of what ships in the bag.
4) Will the Weslock 9700 pull match Weslock door hardware elsewhere in the unit?
It is Weslock door hardware, offered in Oil Rubbed Dark Bronze and Satin Nickel, which are two of the finishes Weslock runs across its residential lever and knob lines. For a visual match on a turnover or remodel, order the pull in the same finish name as the levers already hanging.
