Metallics M256B – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Are Metallics M256B staples still being made?
Metallics has discontinued the M256B at the vendor level, so what remains in the channel is the last of it. If you are standardized on the MT25 tool and this beige 1/4 x 3/8 staple, buy the quantity you need for the work you have planned rather than reordering later.
2) Why are the M256B staples beige instead of the usual metal color?
Beige is a finish choice for runs that stay visible. On low-voltage and communications cable pulled along baseboard, trim, or light-colored wall, a beige staple disappears against the surface where a bare metal one does not. If your run is concealed, color is not a factor.
