Ty-Duct TYD15X2WPG6 1.5X2 WIDE SLOT GRAY DUCT, 100 Pack

It's a 1.5 x 2 inch wide slot PVC wiring duct in gray, supplied in 6 ft (1.83 m) lengths. Sold by the foot, with 100 pieces to the pack as listed under model TYD15X2WPG6.

No adhesive backing on the TYD15X2WPG6. It has to be mechanically fastened, so plan on screws or rivets through the duct base into the panel or backboard, plus the fasteners themselves since they aren't supplied.

Wide slot duct, which is what the TYD15X2WPG6 is, has broader finger openings so you can drop bundles of conductors in and pull branches out at more points without forcing wire past a narrow gap. Narrow slot duct holds small wires more securely and is favored where you want the conductors to stay put in the channel. For panel wiring with heavier bundles or frequent breakouts to terminal blocks, the wide entrance is the easier one to work in.

The TYD15X2WPG6 is gray PVC, which is the standard color for panel and control wiring duct, so it will read the same as existing gray duct runs in an enclosure. Only the cross section differs by part: this one is the 1.5 x 2 inch wide slot size, so if the existing runs are a different width or depth the duct bodies won't line up end to end even though the color matches.

What's described here is the duct body itself, the 1.5 x 2 inch wide slot gray PVC channel in 6 ft lengths. Covers are a separate item and have to match the duct width, so order a 1.5 inch wide snap-on cover to close the run.

Yes. Country of origin on the Ty-Duct TYD15X2WPG6 is the United States, which is what institutional and government buyers with domestic-sourcing requirements usually need confirmed before they spec it.

Yes. It's PVC, so the 6 ft sticks cut cleanly with a fine-tooth hand saw or a duct shear and can be notched for tees and corners. Dress the cut edges so they don't chafe conductors, and because there's no adhesive backing you're free to lay out and fasten after cutting.
