The 5337-T6 is a 2 inch liquidtight connector, so it mates with 2 inch trade size liquidtight flexible metal conduit and lands in a 2 inch knockout. If your run is a different trade size, this is the wrong fitting, the body is built for one size only.

It carries a UL Type 6 rating, which is the enclosure classification for occasional temporary submersion at limited depth, on top of the usual wet and outdoor duty. That is what makes it suitable for washdown areas, pump pits and other spots where a standard dry location fitting would not hold. The connection must be made up properly to the conduit and to a matching Type 6 rated enclosure for the rating to mean anything at the box.

A plain FMC connector just grips the conduit, it does not seal.
