1) What size and length is Viega PureFlow 32105 PEX tubing?
Viega 32105 PureFlow is 3/8 inch PEX tubing on a 500 foot coil, colored red. One part number covers the whole coil, so a single 32105 gets you 500 feet of 3/8 inch red tube.
2) Is 3/8 inch PEX the right size for a bathroom fixture drop, or should I use 1/2 inch?
3/8 inch PEX like the Viega 32105 is a fixture-supply size: lavatory faucets, toilets, icemaker and dishwasher runs, and short drops off a 1/2 inch branch or a manifold port. For branch and trunk lines feeding multiple fixtures, or for a tub or shower valve, step up to 1/2 inch or larger. Running a shower off 3/8 inch will cost you flow.
3) What fittings work with Viega PureFlow 3/8 inch PEX?
PureFlow is Viega's PEX system, and the tubing is made to be joined with Viega PureFlow press fittings and sleeves sized for 3/8 inch PEX. Match the fitting size to the tube, not to the fixture thread, and use the sleeve and tool the fitting system calls for. 3/8 inch PEX fittings are a separate order from the coil.
4) Why is the Viega PureFlow 3/8 inch tubing red, and does the color change the tube?
Red is a color code for hot water runs, nothing more. The tube itself is PEX in 3/8 inch, same as the other colors in the PureFlow line. Plumbers run red for hot and blue for cold so the rough-in can be read at a glance after the walls close up. If you want color coding both ways, order the matching blue coil as well as the 32105 red.
5) Is Viega PureFlow PEX made in the USA? We have domestic content requirements on the job.

The 32105 is PureFlow PEX, Viega's potable plumbing tubing line, and 3/8 inch is a fixture-supply size. Radiant floor loops are normally run in PEX with an oxygen barrier intended for hydronic use, which is a different product family. For a potable water rough-in, cold or hot distribution and fixture drops, the 32105 is the right tube.
