The 5343SST6 is built from 316 stainless steel with a Duraplated ground cone. The 316 alloy is the grade you want in wash-down areas, coastal or marine exposure, food processing, and wastewater plants where 304 would eventually pit. The ground cone is what bites into the conduit core and carries the ground path through the connection.

It is a 3/4 inch, 45 degree liquidtight fitting. The 45 degree body is for the case where a straight connector would kink the flex and a 90 would crowd the box, typical on motor terminations and pump housings where the conduit needs to break away at an angle.

This one is specified as a fitting for flexible metallic conduit, so it is intended for liquidtight flexible metal conduit (the type with a steel core under the PVC jacket). That metal core is what the Duraplated ground cone engages to establish continuity. If you are running liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit, you need a fitting listed for that type instead.

Pick the angle by how much room you have behind the enclosure. A 90 turns the flex flat against the box and is the choice when clearance is tight or the conduit has to run straight down a wall. The 45, like this 3/4 inch 5343SST6, gives a gentler break so the flex is not forced into a hard bend right at the fitting, which is usually the better call on vibrating equipment and short whips where the conduit needs to relieve strain rather than sit rigid.

316 stainless is the reason to specify this fitting. It handles chloride exposure better than plain steel or zinc die cast, which is why it gets used on coastal sites, brewery and dairy washdown, pool equipment rooms, and chemical areas. Liquidtight construction is what keeps moisture out of the raceway at the termination.

Whether a supplemental bonding jumper is still required comes down to your circuit and the length of the flex run under your local code adoption, so size that per the installation rather than assuming the cone alone satisfies it.
