Yes. The AC-2-RD is built for use with rigid and intermediate metallic conduit, and the hubs are threaded rather than set-screw or compression. Both RMC and IMC use the same NPT thread form in a given trade size, so a 3/4 inch run in either one threads straight in. It will not work on EMT, which is unthreaded, and it is not intended for flexible conduit.
2) Is an aluminum conduit body OK to use on a steel rigid conduit run?
Aluminum die cast is the body material on the AC-2-RD, and it is commonly run on steel RMC and IMC. The thing to watch is the environment: aluminum in direct contact with steel in a wet or corrosive location, or embedded in concrete or in contact with masonry treated with corrosive agents, is where electricians switch to a malleable iron or PVC-coated body instead. For dry interior commercial and industrial runs it is a normal pairing.
