The 3/4 inch PureFlow end is pressed with a Viega press tool and jaw sized for 3/4 inch PEX; the 1/2 inch copper end is soldered. Sweat the copper side first and let it cool before you press the PEX side, since heat near a press connection with a sealing element is the usual way these get ruined.
