American Standard 9EP-30.L – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the 9EP-30 end panel fit any American Standard tub, or only the 3051?
Only the 3051. The 9EP-30 is molded specifically as the faucet-end panel for that model, so it is not a universal skirt and should not be ordered to close in a different series or a different manufacturer's unit.
2) What colors does the American Standard 9EP-30 end panel come in?
Two: White and Linen. Order 9EP-30.W for white and 9EP-30.L for linen. Match the panel to the tub or shower base finish so the seam at the end of the unit does not read as a mismatch, which is the usual complaint on multi-family turns.
3) Do I need one end panel or two for an American Standard 3051 installed in an alcove with one open end?
One, if only the faucet end is exposed. The 9EP-30 covers the faucet end only, so an installation with both ends open needs the opposite-end panel ordered separately in the same color.
4) Is the American Standard 9EP-30 panel acrylic or fiberglass?
Acrylic. It is a molded acrylic end panel, so it cleans and wears like the acrylic bathing fixture it finishes rather than like a painted or laminate skirt.
