American Standard Aspirations 60 x 34-Inch Freestanding Bathtub With White Drain and Overflow - AMS-2967004

Either works. The Aspirations 60 x 34-inch tub is shaped so it can go flush against a wall or stand out in the center of the bathroom, which is unusual for a freestanding acrylic tub. That makes it a practical swap for a small bath where a true island install would eat the floor space.

The drain and overflow ship with the tub, color matched in white to the tub finish. The overflow is a slotted type, and American Standard notes it adds about 2 inches of usable water depth over a standard overflow. You still supply the trap and the rough plumbing.

No faucet is included. What ships with the tub is the white slotted drain and overflow. You specify the filler separately, either a floor-mounted freestanding tub filler or a wall-mounted spout, depending on whether you are setting the tub out in the room or flush to a wall.

Two lengths, both 34 inches wide: 60 x 34 inches and 68 x 34 inches. The 60-inch is the one to pick when the bathroom is tight but you do not want to give up soaking width. Model number on the 60-inch white tub is 2967004.02.

It is chip-resistant acrylic with fiberglass reinforcement, and the glossy white surface is nonporous and stain resistant, so it wipes down without special cleaners. For property managers running multiple units, that combination is the reason to spec acrylic over a cast surface: lighter to move up a stairwell and easier to keep looking uniform across a fleet of bathrooms.

Two-piece construction. The Aspirations tub is built as a two-piece acrylic assembly specifically to make handling and installation easier, which matters on a second-floor bath or a remodel with a tight stair turn.

Yes, there is a 5-inch wide rear deck built into the tub for bathing essentials, so you do not need a caddy or a separate ledge. The interior also has a smooth lumbar-shaped back for soaking comfort.
