American Standard Cadet 3 FloWise Skirted Chair Height Round Front Bowl With Seat - AMS-3053000

It ships as a complete combination: bowl, tank, and a top mount slow close seat and cover. The seat has an easy lift off feature so you can take it off for cleaning and put it back without tools, and two color-matched bolt hole covers are included. For a property manager doing a straight replacement, the only extras you normally supply are the supply line and wax ring.

Round front. Round front bowls project less from the wall than elongated, which is why they get specified in small baths, powder rooms, and tight multi-family layouts. Chair height means the seat sits at roughly the height of a standard chair rather than the lower traditional bowl height, which most users find easier to get on and off of.

The Cadet 3 FloWise meets EPA WaterSense criteria, which is the qualification most utility and municipal rebate programs reference for high efficiency toilets. That also makes it usable where a local code or a green building spec requires WaterSense listed fixtures.

Three things do the work. The skirted trapway means there are no exposed trapway contours along the sides of the bowl to wipe around, the EverClean surface inhibits growth of stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the china, and the PowerWash rim scrubs the bowl on every flush. For hospitality, education, or multi-family MRO, that cuts the time a housekeeper spends per fixture.

It uses a siphon action jetted bowl with a fully glazed 2-1/8 inch trapway. The glazing through the full trapway is what keeps waste and paper moving instead of catching, and the jet plus the PowerWash rim drive the siphon. The water surface area is 9 by 8 inches, which keeps the bowl cleaner between flushes.

Go skirted when cleaning labor or appearance matters, since the concealed, smooth-sided trapway removes the ridges that collect dust and require detail wiping. A conventional exposed trapway two piece is the simpler choice when you just need a low cost like for like swap and nobody is scrutinizing the look. Either way this one is still a two piece combination, so the tank and bowl handle and install separately.

White only, ordered as part number 3053000.02. If you are standardizing bathrooms across a building, white keeps the seat, the bolt caps, and any matching American Standard lavatory in the same color family.
