American Standard Cadet 3 FloWise Skirted Chair Height Elongated Bowl With Seat - AMS-3075000

It is the bowl only. The Cadet 3 FloWise skirted chair height elongated bowl ships with a top mount slow-close seat and cover included, but you order the matching tank separately to complete the fixture. Plan the order around that, because a bowl-only shipment with no tank leaves the job unfinished.

The rim measures 16-1/2 inches. That is chair height, which most people find easier to sit down on and stand up from than a standard bowl, and it is the height specifiers reach for in senior housing, accessible units, and hospitality. Seat thickness adds to that once the included seat is on.

The trapway is 2-1/8 inches and fully glazed end to end. The glaze gives waste a slick path through the bend rather than a rough china surface to catch on, which is what reduces callbacks in multi-family and student housing where clog complaints drive the maintenance ticket count.

Elongated bowls project roughly two inches further into the room than a round front, so measure from the finished wall to the nearest obstruction before committing. In a tight powder room or a stall with a swing-in door, a round front is the safer choice. Where clearance allows, the elongated shape on the Cadet 3 FloWise is the more comfortable seat and the one most commercial and multi-family specs call for.

That is the point of it. The skirted design plus a concealed trapway removes the exposed contours and crevices where dirt collects on a conventional two-piece bowl, so housekeeping wipes a flat side instead of working around the trap curve. For property managers and hospitality MRO turning units on a schedule, that is the practical difference against a standard exposed-trapway bowl.

Yes. The included seat and cover are slow close with an easy lift-off feature, so the seat releases from the top mount hinges without tools and goes back on the same way. It also means the hinge posts are top mounted, so you are not reaching up behind the bowl to a nut underneath when you replace the seat later.

Vitreous china, the same fired and glazed material used across commercial restroom fixtures. The glazed surface is non-porous, so it does not absorb stains or odor and stands up to routine disinfectant cleaning in a public restroom or a rental turn.

White. That is the single finish offered under part number 3075000.02, and it is the standard match for white American Standard tanks and for the rest of a white fixture package in a multi-unit building.
