American Standard 770256-200.0020A – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What finishes do the American Standard 770256-200 console feet come in?
Two finishes: chrome (part 770256-200.0020A) and brushed nickel (part 770256-200.2950A). Order the one that matches the faucet and drain on the console lavatory rather than the sink body, since the legs sit in the same sightline as the trim.
2) What are console feet for on a bathroom sink?
They are the metal support legs that carry the front of a console lavatory, working with the wall hanger or bracket so the bowl is supported at both the wall and the floor. This American Standard set covers that leg function for a console sink installation; it is the leg hardware only, not the sink or the faucet.
3) I manage several restrooms with American Standard console lavatories and one leg is damaged. Can I order just this part?
Yes, the 770256-200 console feet are sold as a replacement leg set on their own, four to a set, so you can re-leg a damaged console without replacing the lavatory. Match the finish to the existing legs, chrome or brushed nickel, and note you will receive four even if only one is damaged, which leaves spares for the rest of the fleet.
